The Energy Expo is sponsored by the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District, Natural Resources Conservation Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Purdue Extension and WRBI. It will consist of presentations on various energy-related issues/technologies (i.e. solar, wind, energy efficient practices, grants & rebates, etc.) along with a vendor display area. Woodie Bessler and Darrell Boggess wil give a Going Solar presentation. Other speakers represent the USDA Rural Development, Purdue, Ball State, a non-profit group, and individual residents who have installed various alternative energy technologies.
