Guest speaker Arvind Gopu will open the session (first 30 mins) with basic information about how solar energy  works. Then\, he will talk about Solarize Bloomington\, a partnership between the City of Bloomington\, SIREN\, and contractors (Whole Sun Designs and Solar Energy Solutions) to provide bulk-discounted solar installations to residents in Bloomington and Monroe County.

Jacqui Bauer\, City Sustainability Coordinator\, will introduce the city’s objectives for the campaign.   Representatives of the installer\, Solar Energy Solutions\, will discuss scheduling and share how the company works with customers.
