DESCRIPTION:When Bloomington’s City Hall and Police Headquarters go solar in 2017\, residents will be able to join in though the Solarize Bloomington Campaign.  The city has asked solar installers to offer a discount to local residents and businesses as part of the project for the city buildings. \nAt this evening’s event\, SIREN\, the technical adviser to the Solarize Campaign\, will give a Going Solar presentation customized to potential participants. Jacqui Bauer\, City Sustainability Coordinator\, will introduce the city’s objectives for the campaign. Steve Ricketts of Solar Energy Solutions will share how the company works with customers and discuss scheduling installations.
