SIREN is one of nine local environmental groups sponsoring a program in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Buskirk Chumley Theater on January 15 from 5-7 pm. The program will consist of a showing of the film Time to Choose followed by a brief introduction of the groups working locally to mitigate climate change and what they are doing. Carrie Newcomer will lead the audience in singing “If not now, tell me when” which has become SIREN’s anthem. Then a light dinner will be served and people are invited to stay and talk with the sponsors.
